Keylogger
Software or hardware that secretly records every keystroke typed on a device, capturing passwords, messages, and other sensitive information.
A keylogger records every key pressed on a keyboard and sends the data to an attacker. This captures passwords, banking credentials, private messages, and any other typed information. Keyloggers can be software (installed via malware or physical access) or hardware (a small device plugged between the keyboard and computer). They are often part of banking trojans targeting Malaysian users.
